The late check-in system worked seamlessly, allowing me to easily obtain my room key. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the spacious room with a good-sized TV. the location, near Southampton Central train station, was convenient, and the room was well-maintained and clean. While the smell upon arrival was off-putting and the room felt a bit cramped, the overall value for money was excellent, especially for a weekend stay in August. the option for key boxes for arrival was a nice touch, and the décor colors were pleasing. I also appreciated the free toiletries provided. In conclusion, despite some drawbacks, Rivendell Guest House offers affordable and comfortable accommodations in a convenient location. As someone who values a good night's sleep and efficient communication, I would recommend this guest house for those looking for a budget-friendly option in Southampton.
